The color lillium is one of the most unique of the bunch. It's a warm beige pink with a hint of peach. I picked it up, because I didn't have any warm blushes it my collection. It's one of those color that's impossible to overdo.
They staying power of this is great. What I like to do is powder my face everywhere except where I put the blush to keep my face dewy and try to fake some cheekbones. I'm also wearing illamasqua hollow as a contour on the pictures below. The blush is really easy to blend and to apply. I like to apply it with a small synthetic brush, but it works also really well with the fingers.
I know I've been reviewing quite a few face products lately, but I think summer is all about dewy and fresh skin. As you can see I also warmed up my lip and eyeshadow color and played a bit out of my comfort zone. I must say that I love it.
If you are into traditional creamy blushes I think the Stila are a good option at a relative good price. They also have a lot of unique shades, some very brights and others with brown and beige undertones.
I am sure it will! They have other brownish warm shades as well.
ReplyDeleteIn Belgium it doesn't get very hot, but it Canada it can go up to 37 celcius, then I'm more of a powder blush person as well!
Very pretty warm pink shade , am sure would suit Indian skin tones too, but the problem is Summers are too hot here & I personally prefer matte finish look for summers.
ReplyDeleteMe too! If I didn't stop myself, that's all I would buy!
ReplyDeleteGod knows I love myself a good cream blush! And Lillium is a shade I don't have yet.
ReplyDeleteMaybe next time you are in the UK!
ReplyDeleteI would love to try something from this brand!
ReplyDeleteBoth great shades as well! I wish I could wear gladiola, but it's just a bit too warm for me!
ReplyDeletei really like the CC's from stila. i have gladiola and poppy. such a great way to coordinate your lips and face.

A Beautiful Zen
Unfortunately they are only available in the UK and North America. Too bad!
ReplyDeleteYeah Face products in general are harder to buy without trying! Eyeshadows, there's always a way to make them work.
ReplyDeleteYes, I do love creamy blushes and I think this one looks absolutely amazing (the color and on you). I wish I could try out the Stila blushes, sigh.
ReplyDeleteHey Judith, I've heard so many great things about these, but I haven't tried any of them! It's a great natural-looking shade on you! Too bad we don't have a counter here. Would so love to at least swatch them :)
ReplyDeleteThank you! I'm sure a nice cream blush would look really pretty on you!
ReplyDeleteaw the color is really really pretty on you, makes your already fresh face fresh-er if that makes sense :) i see cream blushes are better than powder blushes in achieving that dewy effect.
